[Music: Nobuo Uematsu - Terra's Theme (orchestrated)]

Ah yes, the sounds of classic SuperNES Game music, orchestrated. One of my favorite musical styles. Both Video games, orchestral, and a combination of the two. Down to business, however.

School's out, and my first 2 days of Summer Break are here. So far, it's been good.

On Friday, I got to my grandparent's house, and the system that awaited me, right next to the Playstation, was a Sega semi-brand-spankin-new DreamCast. It was a 'reward' for finishing school. We stopped at Best Buy to get a VMU for it, but they were sold out. The funny think is the girl who asked what we needed checked to see when they we're restocking DreamCast stuff. Ironically, Sega stopped production of DreamCast stuff over a year ago and began making stuff for other consoles. Oh well. I brought some new information into her life. :P

Instead of Memory unit's, we got Jet Grind Radio ($10). It's a pretty good game. To sum it up, it's about illegal Japanese gangs with high tech rollerblades who listen to illegal radio called Jet Set Radio hosted by Professor K, and the main goal is to avoid the "angry" police captain, Onishima, and mark your territory in Tokyo-to (the name of the place the game takes place in. It's kinda like Tokyo) with Graffiti. :P It's pretty fun.

Saturday was decent. Went on eBay, got some DreamCast games. I won Shenmue and something else, I think... Later, I went to GameStop (formerly FuncoLand), and bought a DreamCast VMU unit and an extra normal memory unit. We also got a few RCA game switches and Super Ghouls N Ghosts for the SNES. Haven't played it yet. Still engrossed in Chrono Trigger. Evidentaly, Chrono Trigger is much better than originally thought, once you get into it. I've also been playing Golden Sun on my GBA.

Sunday was fine... Not too much happened, except I went home for a few minutes and found the latest Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM) laying on my bed. I love those monthly crosswords. They're all out fun. Lot's of E3 info also, from Nintendo Power, but I wont discuss it now. I've gone too much into gaming as it is. :P

Yesterday was fun. Played Chrono Trigger, and went to a friend's birthday party. It wasa total of 4 people, including him and excluding his brother. We all went to see Episode II (Yes, Star Wars). If there was one word I could use to describe this movie, it would be frigginawesome, mainly because my spacebar didn't work right there. I really liked how well they did the computer generated graphics. It was all out awesome. The plot wasvery involving. And seeing that little wrinkly bundle of joy (Yoda) hope and fly and kung-fu the big-bad-boss guy (Dooku) with a lightsaber and psychic powers (the Force), it was somewhat humorous, but also downright cool and awesome. I think it's my favorite Star Wars (considering that when I saw the original trilogy, I was too young to fully appreciate it...). I suggest that anyone who hasn't seen it, go seeit when you can/want. Anyone who has, then do whatever the heck you darn well please. I take it Star Wars fans are going to go back many many times, so have fun.

Now this summer, I have some cool projects. Last summer, I made a really nifty Nintendo64 Game Stairs. I designed it, my grandpa did the wood work, and I painted it. It turned out pretty well. Too bad you can't see the logo too well, but THIS PICTURE gives you the idea of what it is and how it works. Yeah, I own many more games than what's shown, but that's only for display.

I plan on doing something similar this summer, as a dual SNES/NES game holder stairs thingy. I have the basic idea, and I'll post pictures sometime when I'm done.

Oh, and that thank you to my teachers thing I'm (still) going to do, I'll begin it tonite. I should hopefully have it done by next Friday (My iBook punishment is lifted THIS Friday). So I'm sure it's not surprising, the procrastination and all, so hopefully anyone who wants to read it can do what some of my teachers did for some of my assignments. :P

Later.
