May somethingth, 2002

I think it's the 8th. I'm not sure.

Anyways, I'll start by talking about OD2's new blog, Random Implosions and the Such. I like the name. If stuff doesn't explode, it will implode, both of which are very cool. Anyways, if you want to see it, it's over at www.littleod2.blogspot.com.

My week's been going well.

Monday was awesome. We got to take both of our elective periods for orchestra for our upcoming concert. I love Orchestra. It just kicks so much ass... Anyways, the auditorium was hot. VERY hot. The air conditioning was on full blast while the lights were only half power. I still remember the look on Lauren's face when Mr. Larmore said that. Like always, I was second chair right next to the best player, probably period, in our orchestra. Neil Zundel. He takes Honors orchestra, and even plays over at University City or something like that. He's very very good. I respect his skills very much.

Tuesday went over well. It was early dimissal. ALL day, we had an assembly. It was your typical "Electives like Choir, Band, and Orchestra, along with after school activities like double dutch, basketball, and the like, show off their skills" assembly. It pretty much sucked. The orchestra played Pink Panther and ALlegro (Yes, I was in that orchestra). The only real good thing about it though was one; we got no classes, and two; the final act. That was freaking awesome. Jack Morris, Mike McKewon (however you spell that name), Greg Canterez (he has a beard), Bryant Vanderweird, and someone else, all did a dance to the song Lucky by Britney Spears. Oh, but if you don't think the crappy song and the irony of four boys making fools of themselves is enough to make you laugh, they had to shatter our spleens by wearing typical miniskirts and girl shirts and the like. Except for Bryant. He wore a suit. But still, I think it's going to be on the video yearbook. Believe me, it was many times more funnier than what I just described.

Later, came my orchestra concert. It was really fun. Or something. I talked with Greg Orf about Nintendo games. He had recently beat Earthbound for the 73rd time in his life. Hehehe... ANyways, I got some ridicule about 'choking the chicken' from Science the previous day. I swear, I was only holding up my pants. Some people are just perverts, you know? Then the concert came. When we played Sea Chantey, we had rushed around the begining. I'll see if I can upload the video of our concert someday...
Afterwards, i went to Steak N Shake and ate a Double Steak Cheeseburger with Cheese Fries. Very good indeed.

Today was History day at school. It was indeed very fun... Damn, a wave of laziness came over me. I'll describe it tomorrow.

Anyways, all's been going well. I just need to finish my Theorem Book for Math and get some late math work in and then I'm set to tackle the rest of the year.

I'm done.
